The Merrimack Concert Band held
its first rehearsal with twenty-eight musicians in attendance.
The newly formed Board of Directors
held its first board meeting. The band scheduled a full
calendar of indoor and outdoor concerts and parades.
Internal Revenue Service granted
the MCA 501(c)(3) status.
The Merrimack Chorus began rehearsals
under the direction of Ms. Sara Phelps. By its first performance
at the Family Holiday Concert in December, the chorus boasted
a membership of more than ninety.
